2010 Byzanteen Youth Rally

Byzantines from throughout the United States came together for the 2010 Byzanteen Youth Rally held July 8-11 at Mercyhurst College in Erie, PA. SS Peter & Paul hosted a Divine Liturgy on Saturday, July 10, celebrated by Bishop William Skurla (Eparchy of Passaic), Bishop John Kudrick (Eparchy of Parma), and Fr. Eugene Yackanich (Administrator of the Pittsburgh Archeparchy). Parishioners and Youth were led in singing by the Byzanteen Youth Choir. See Photos.

Deacon Will Rupp Ordained

On May 16, 2010 Deacon WIll Rupp was ordained as a priest of the Byzantine Catholic Archeparchy of Pittsburgh in a ceremony at the Cathedral of St. John in Munhall, PA. On May 23, 2010, Father Will celebrated a Liturgy of Thanksgiving at his home parish SS Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church. View Photos

ByzanTeen Youth Prepare Easter Baskets

ByzanTeen youth from Ss. Cyril & Methodius joined with those from
Ss. Peter & Paul in Erie to prepare traditional Easter Baskets for shut-ins.
